T. had been trying to promote in city hall the idea of inviting artists to make site specific sculptures in the city. The sculptures would be inspired by poems and would incorporate the poems within them. She had little success with this project but was invited to do something related at the Jerusalem Botanical Garden.
She wanted to write the poems on the pathways in the garden. As she had little experience with paint and its application, she took me on as a technical adviser. I helped her choose the font, the paint, and in making the stencils.
