Tlishim

"Tlishim" is a word I invented for those home-made flyers that have the babysitter's or band-leader's phone number on tear-off tabs.

In this project (part of Salamanca Group's He'art Shulaim 7) I made and hung a number of tlishim with various texts in Jerusalem's Nachlaot neighborhood. All the ads had the same phone number which led to a voice-mail box.

The ad for the small lot was the one that got the most responses, many of them quite serious inquiries.

At the He'ara exhibition I showed a time-laps video of an ad with the audio from the voice-mail box.
